I am grateful to ASAP for opening up the doors of contemporary platforms for communication in front of me. Leaders at different levels take such initiatives to upgrade their human resources and thereby their organization. It really is an opportunity to bridge the digital divide.
In the eighties I was only a fresh postgraduate with an additional skill of Higher Grade in English typewriting. Computer was beyond reach during my initial years of service in the Army. However, as an expert in typewriting, superiors asked me to learn computer when our department clerk went on leave. Some others discouraged me saying that I will have to work as a clerk(I was working with a Higher grade pay) and remain in office till midnight. Then I obeyed the latter and plotted manuscript letters during the absence of our clerk. It was an opportunity that I missed to learn IT skills.
Later by the end of nineties I was compelled to work from a remote area in Arunachal Pradesh where departmental related various projects were to be submitted uploading in WANs as the physical movement of letters were disrupt by incessant rains in the region. Again I was motivated and guided by my superior to learn computer skills. He sat with me and taught IT for some days. With the interest generated, I approached a subordinate sepoy who was from Coorg and he advised me to work in computers fearlessly and ensured to recover data even if the computer crashed.(He had a certification from Microsoft in hardware).
Later I joined a computer course for three months and learned to work on it systematically. Further I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to join Automated Data Processing (Fundamentals) Course. It was a turning point in my life. From then I started empowering my colleagues (seniors aswell as juniors) in IT skills.
I am proud that I was able to teach online Income Tax filing to as many as 100 persons when the learned were not ready to impart it to others as it was a means of income and earning respect.
Now it is in the form of Kannanunni , Sherin , Sibi and Manu Sirs who prompted me to upgrade. Earlier,with my learned skills I was able to make a poster in PowerPoint consuming a lot of time. But when I learned to work with CANVA, it became very easy and attractive. Doing it with Drives is learned from Sibi Sir and Manu Sir now introduced me to WordPress.

കുട്ടികൾ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത് , ഇന്ന് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സാധ്യതകൾ ഉള്ള മേഖല ഏതാണ് ? ആ മേഖലയിലെ ജോലികൾക്കു ശരാശരി എത്ര ശമ്പളം കിട്ടും ? ഈ മേഖല തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്താൽ സമൂഹം എന്നെ പറ്റി എന്ത് വിചാരിക്കും ?അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും ഈ മേഖലയിൽ പഠിക്കാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുമോ ?
ഭാവിയിൽ എൻ്റെ മകൾ / മകൻ ആരാകും.അവർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന തൊഴിലിൽ അവർക്ക് ശോഭിക്കാനാകുമോ ? സമൂഹത്തിലെ നമ്മുടെ നിലക്കും വിലക്കും പറ്റിയ തൊഴിൽ ആകുമോ അത് ? ഇങ്ങനെ പോകുന്നു മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ ചിന്തകൾ
ഇന്ന് മിക്കവരും സ്വയം പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ തൊഴിൽ പറയുന്നത് സ്വാഭാവികമാണ്. അതായത് തൊഴിൽ എന്നത് ഉപജീവനമാർഗ്ഗം എന്നതിലുപരി വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിൻ്റെ തന്നെ ഭാഗമായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു..എന്നാൽ നിർഭാഗ്യവശാൽ ഇന്ന് നാം ഈ സുപ്രധാനമായ കാര്യത്തിൽ തീരുമാനം എടുക്കുന്നത് വേണ്ടത്ര തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകളോടെയല്ല. ഒരു മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ വാങ്ങുമ്പോളോ , അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു യാത്ര പോകുമ്പോളോ നാം എടുക്കുന്ന അത്ര തയ്യാറെടുപ്പ് പോലും ഇന്ന് പലരും അവരുടെ കരിയർ പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ എടുക്കുന്നില്ല.
ഭാരതത്തിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗം മാതാപിതാക്കന്മാരും ഇന്ന് സ്വന്തം കുട്ടികളുടെ ഭാവി സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കാൻ 12 മുതൽ 18 വർഷം വരെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനായി ചെലവിടുന്നു.18 വർഷത്തെ ഈ തയ്യാറെടുപ്പ് പിന്നീട് വരുന്ന 40 മുതൽ 50 വർഷം വരെയുള്ള അവരുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ നിർണായകമാണ് . സ്വന്തം മക്കൾക്ക് പരമാവധി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകുന്നതിൽ ഇന്ന് മിക്ക മാതാപിതാക്കന്മാരും ജാഗരൂകരാണ് എന്നത് നല്ല കാര്യം തന്നെ. എന്നാൽ ഈ ശ്രദ്ധ ഡിഗ്രി സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നതിൽ മാത്രം ഒതുങ്ങി നിൽക്കരുത്. നൽകിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം അവർ ഭാവിയിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന തൊഴിൽ മേഖലക്ക് ഉപയോഗപ്രദമാണോ എന്നും പരിശോധിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട് .
വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ ഭാവി സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചറിയാൻ ഭാരതത്തിലെ വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ്സ് മുതൽ പ്ലസ്ടു വരെയുള്ള 33000 വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പങ്കെടുപ്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് നടത്തിയ ഒരു സർവേയിൽ 78 % പേരും ഭാവി പഠന മേഖല തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല എന്ന ഉത്തരമാണ് നൽകിയത്. ബാക്കിയുള്ള 22 % പേരും 7 തൊഴിൽ മേഖലകളിൽ നിന്നാണ് ഭാവി പ്ലാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്.
അനുയോജ്യമായ ഒരു പഠനമേഖല തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതിലുള്ള ഈ കൺഫ്യുഷൻ താഴെ കാണുന്ന വിവിധ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് വഴി തെളിക്കുന്നു.
1 ) നേടിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും തൊഴിലും തമ്മിലുള്ള അന്തരം കൂടിവരുന്നു. ഇതുകാരണം ഭാവിയിൽ എത്തിപ്പെടുന്ന മേഖലയിൽ ഉന്നതനിലവാരത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല. ലോകബാങ്ക് ലോകത്തെ വിവിധ വ്യവസായ മേഖലകളിൽ നിന്ന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത 88 പേരിൽ 64% പേരും തങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന ജോലിയിൽ ഉന്നത ഗുണനിലവാരം പുലർത്തുന്നില്ല എന്ന കണ്ടെത്തി.
2 ) കുറഞ്ഞു വരുന്ന തൊഴിൽ സംതൃപ്തി ടൈമ്സ് ജോബ്സ് നടത്തിയ സർവേ പ്രകാരം 10 ൽ 8 പേരും ചെയ്യുന്ന തൊഴിലിൽ സംതൃപ്തരല്ല.
3 ) മിഡ് കരിയർ ക്രൈസിസ് ഇനി മുന്നോട്ട് എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ചിന്തിച് കൊണ്ട് ഇന്ന് 35 വയസ്സ് പിന്നിടുന്ന ജോലിക്കാരിൽ പലരും മിഡ് കരിയർ ക്രൈസിസ് എന്ന അവസ്ഥയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നു.
4 ) തൊഴിൽ മേഖലയിലെ അസംപ്തൃപ്തി പലരുടെയും സംതൃപ്തമായ കുടുംബജീവിതത്തെയും ബാധിക്കുന്നു.
5 ) സാമൂഹിക നഷ്ടം – ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ കഴിവുകളാൽ അനുഗ്രഹീതരാണ്. എന്നാൽ ഇത് തിരിച്ചറിയാതെ വരുമ്പോൾ അവൻ വ്യക്തതയില്ലാതെ ഏതെങ്കിലും തൊഴിൽ മേഖലയിൽ എത്തിപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇത് കാരണം അവൻ്റെ സ്വാഭാവിക കഴിവുള്ള മേഖലയിലെ ഒരു മികച്ച വ്യക്തിയെ സമൂഹത്തിനു നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു.
6 ) തുടർന്ന് അവരുടെ മക്കളുടെ കാര്യങ്ങളിലും ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
അലക്ഷ്യമായ യാത്രകൾ പുതുമ നിറഞ്ഞതും രസകരവുമാണ്.എന്നാൽ അതിലും സുന്ദരമാണ് കൃത്യമായ ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയുള്ള യാത്രകൾ. യാത്രയിലെ ക്ഷീണത്തെ തരണം ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ഊർജ്ജം നൽകുന്നത് ലക്ഷ്യമാണ്. താഴെ പറയുന്ന ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ ഭാവി ജീവിതയാത്ര കൂടുതൽ സുഖരമാക്കാം
1. സ്വന്തം കഴിവുകളെയും താല്പര്യങ്ങെളയും പറ്റിയുള്ള വ്യക്തമായ ധാരണ. ഇത് കണ്ടെത്തുക നിസ്സാരമല്ല. ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ദിവസങ്ങളല്ല , ഒരു പക്ഷെ വർഷങ്ങളോളം എടുത്തേക്കാവുന്ന ഒരു പ്രക്രിയ ആണ് . ഈ പരിശ്രമത്തിനിടയിൽ ലോകത്തെ മാറ്റങ്ങളോ , മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെയോ മറ്റ് സാമൂഹിക സമ്മർദ്ദങ്ങളോ , നിങ്ങളുടെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളോ , ഉയർന്ന ശമ്പളമോ, ഒന്നും നിങ്ങളെ സ്വാധീനിക്കരുത്. അങ്ങനെ വന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് യഥാർത്ഥ നിങ്ങളെ കണ്ടെത്താൻ സാധിച്ചെന്ന് വരില്ല
2 . വളരെ നേരത്തെ ആരംഭിക്കുക സ്വയം അറിയാനുള്ള ഈ പരിശ്രമം നിങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കാൻ വൈകുന്തോറും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാവി തീരുമാനങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങളെ നയിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങളുടെ ആകാംക്ഷകളും ആശങ്കകളും ആകും. തൽഫലമായി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമല്ലാത്ത കരിയർ മേഖലകളിൽ എത്തിപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം . അതിനാൽ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ പഠന ആരംഭവേളയിൽ തന്നെ ഈ പരിശ്രമം ആരംഭിക്കുക. കുറവുകളെപറ്റി ബോധവാനായിരിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലത് തന്നെ . എന്നാൽ അത് ചിന്തിച്ച് സമയം പാഴാക്കരുത്. കഴിവുകളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുക.
3 . അറിവല്ല, തിരിച്ചറിവാണ് പ്രധാനം ഇൻറ്റർനെറ്റ് വിപ്ലവത്തോടെ ഇന്ന് ഏത് കാര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ഉള്ള അറിവുകൾ നമ്മുടെ വിരൽത്തുമ്പിലുണ്ട്.അതിനാൽ അറിവിനേക്കാളുപരി സ്വന്തം കഴിവുകൾ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുക.
4. അടങ്ങാനാവാത്ത അഭിവാഞ്ച പ്രധാനം ഇഷ്ടാനിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. അതിനെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി എടുത്തുചാടി നിങ്ങളുടെ കരിയർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കരുത്. ഒരു തൊഴിൽ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന 100 പേർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ , അതിൽ ആ തൊഴിലിനെ ശരിക്കും മനസ്സിലാക്കി , മടികൂടാതെ ആവേശത്തോടെ അതിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ താല്പര്യപ്പെടുന്നവർ ഒരുപക്ഷെ 30 പേരെ കാണൂ . അതിൽ തന്നെ തൊഴിൽ വൈദഗ്ധ്യം ഉള്ള ഒരുപക്ഷെ 5 പേരെ കാണൂ. ആ 5 ൽ ആ തൊഴിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ അടങ്ങാനാകാത്ത അഭിവാഞ്ച ഉള്ള ഒരാളെ കാണൂ. അവർക്ക് ആ തൊഴിൽ ജീവശ്വാസം തന്നെ ആകും. അവർ ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ അവർ പരിപൂർണ്ണ സന്തോഷം കണ്ടെത്തും.അവർ തന്നെ ആകും ആ തൊഴിലിൽ അത്ഭുദങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കാൻ പ്രാപ്തരായവർ.
5. ദീർഘവീക്ഷണത്തോടെയുള്ള പരിശ്രമം അനസ്യൂതം മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ പഠിച്ചിറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇഷ്ടമേഖലയിൽ ഉണ്ടാകാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ള അവസരങ്ങളെ അന്വേഷിക്കുക. പഠനസമയത്ത് സാധ്യതകൾ ഉള്ള മേഖലകൾ ഒരുപക്ഷെ പഠനം കഴിയുന്ന വേളയിൽ അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായേക്കാം.
6. ശരിയായ ദിശയിലുള്ള ചിന്താഗതികളിലൂടെ കൂടുതൽ ഉയരങ്ങളിലേക്ക് എനിക്കാരാകാൻ സാധിക്കും എന്ന ചിന്തയേക്കാൾ എൻ്റെ കഴിവുകൾ സമൂഹത്തിന് വേണ്ടി എങ്ങനെ ഉപകാരപ്രദമാക്കാം എന്ന ചിന്തക്ക് പ്രാമുഖ്യം നൽകുക. നിർമ്മിത ബുദ്ധിയുടെ അതിപ്രസരം വരുംകാല തൊഴിൽ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രതിഫലിക്കും എന്നതിൽ തർക്കമില്ല. എന്നാൽ അപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യൻ്റെ മാത്രമായുള്ള പ്രത്യേകതകൾക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യമേറും. നല്ല ശീലങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കുക. ജീവിതത്തിലുടനീളം സാമൂഹ്യപ്രതിബദ്ധത എന്ന ആശയം മുറുകെ പിടിക്കുക.
7 .എവിടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ടോ അവിടെ ഒരു സാധ്യത ഒളിഞ്ഞിരിപ്പുണ്ട്. ലോകത്ത് ഇന്ന് ശാസ്ത്ര സാങ്കേതിക മേഖലയിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പലരും സമൂഹത്തിലെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കാനായി പുറപ്പെട്ട തുടർന്ന് ആ മേഖലയിൽ പ്രശസ്തരായവർ ആണ് .അതിനാൽ സ്വയം വൈദഗ്ധ്യം ഉള്ള മേഖലകളിൽ സമൂഹം ഇന്ന് എന്ത് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നു എന്ന് നോക്കുക. അവിടെ നിന്നാരംഭിക്കുക.
8. യൂ ടേൺ എടുക്കാൻ മടിക്കേണ്ട. എടുത്ത കരിയർ തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ തെറ്റി എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞാൽ യൂ ടേൺ എടുക്കാൻ മടിക്കേണ്ട. ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട മേഖലയിലേക്ക് തിരിയാം. വേണ്ട യോഗ്യതകൾക്കായി ഇന്ന് എല്ലാ മികച്ച യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റികളും വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രായഭേദമെന്യേ ചെയ്യാവുന്ന ഓൺലൈൻ കോഴ്സുകൾ ഓഫർ ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതിൽ പലതും നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലവിലെ ജോലിയുടെ കൂടെ ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്. eg : Coursera, edX, Udemy etc
9. കഴിവ് മാത്രമല്ല, കഴിവുകളുടെ കോമ്പിനേഷനും പ്രധാനം നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉള്ള ഒരു കഴിവ് ഒരുപക്ഷെ മറ്റ് പലർക്കും ഉണ്ടായേക്കാം. എന്നാൽ ഈ ലോകത്ത് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മാത്രമായി ചില പ്രത്യേക കഴിവുകളുടെ കോമ്പിനേഷൻ ഉണ്ടാകും. ആ കോമ്പിനേഷൻ ആവശ്യമായ തൊഴിലുകൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അവിടെ കൂടുതൽ ശോഭിക്കാം.
10. നൈപുണ്യ പരിശീലനം അനുയോജ്യമായ മേഖല കണ്ടെത്തിയാൽ അതാത് മേഖലകളിൽ ഉള്ള നൂതനമായ അറിവുകൾ, പ്രായോഗികജ്ഞാനം എന്നിവ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് നൈപുണ്യപരിശീലനം വളരെ പ്രധാനമാണ്. തൊഴിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചാലും ഇത്തരം പരിശീലനങ്ങൾക്ക് സമയം കണ്ടെത്തണം
ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയും ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് വരുന്നത് ചില പ്രത്യേക ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടെയാണ്. നമ്മൾ ഇവിടെ യാദൃശ്ചികമായി എത്തിയവരല്ല. ചില കടമകൾ നിറവേറ്റേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്ത് തീർക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ചില നല്ല സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ സമൂഹത്തിന് നൽകേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ചില നല്ല മാതൃകകൾ സമൂഹത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ആ ലക്ഷ്യം കണ്ടെത്താൻ നമുക്ക് ഏവർക്കും പ്രയത്നിക്കാം. അർത്ഥപൂർണ്ണമായ ഒരു ജീവിതം നയിക്കാം.

As part of World Youth Skill day Celebrations, ASAP GGHSS Manjeri SDC celebrated the day “EXPLORICA 2K19 – Healthy Competition on Acquired Skills of ASAP Students” at Govt. Girls HSS Manjeri on 29th June 2019, Saturday. The celebration was inaugurated by Honorable MLA, Adv. M. Ummar Programme Manager in Charge of the SDC, Mr. Nisanth Narayanan welcomed the gathering and the session was presided over by District Programme Manager of Malappuram Sri. Aneesh P. From the Nine institution Around 300 asapians participated in the competitions such as Translator Alligator, Just A Minute (JAM) – one minute dare challenge, Spell Bee, collage making, poem witting, story writing, and drawing competitions.
SDE forum of Malappuram District was conducted at CSP Pandikkad on 8th December 2019 at 10 am. The forum was inaugurated by DPM Aneesh chaired by Anas Anwar. SDE, Chandini N, welcomed all the members to the forum. SDEs presented different informative sessions such as “Basics Of Communication” “Verbs And Phrasal Verbs”, “Usage In Communicative English” and “Language Preparation For Aptis” in the Forum. During the forum the CSP PM also introduced the CSP and the facilities available.
A Tribal Job Fair was conducted at IGMR on 7th December 2019.Grooming session for the candidates was conducted by ASAP by SDEs Yusuf and Arshaque. District Collector addressed the candidates.
TOP inaugurated on 24/11/2019 at GVHSS Kondotty in the presence of Shahna Mam Programme Manager of Kottappuram SDC. The parents and students were very happy and satisfied with the program.
For those who doesn’t know what TOP, let’s get familiar with it.
TOP, which stands for Teach Our Parents is an initiative by the ASAPians of GVHSS, Kondotty belong to the Kottappuram SDC of Malappuram district. Our parents are the ones who lit our life with the light of knowledge making us successful and able to face the world. Now it’s time to lend a helping hand towards our parents. Knowledge is the like a well which will only increase by the amount its given to others. The students have done a discussion and came up with a syllabus which will provide the parents with Basic English language knowledge. The syllabus covers the basic topics of the language starting from greeting, introduction to mail drafting and form fillings. The students have also planned to raise the parents to the new technologies and the usages of the techs.
All the ASAPians parents will be invited to attend a meeting. The students will be taking the class on a meeting which will be conducted at the school. On the particular day the students will introduce English language, common usages and prepare self introduction for the parents. The syllabus which is detailed below contains many topics which will be later on conveyed to the parents on a day by day process by the students from home itself. The whole idea is to educate the parents with the students too. The whole syllabus will be covered in a the coming l months from the day of starting.

As the whole syllabus is covered a test will be conducted for the parents in order to understand the level of improvement in them. On one side this will help the parents learn but on the greater side this will enable to make the students better as the will have to learn better in order to teach their parents and clear their doubts.

The initiative was received well by the parents, students and other faculties of the school. The School Principal and ASAP Cordinator congratulated the students for such a great initiative. The parents were overwhelmed to see their on kids teach them with such passion. The program generated alot of self confidence among the students.
Bridge 2019 -20 ( Industry -Academia -LSGD workshop) was organised on 1st July at DTPC Hall ,Kottakunnu at Malappuram district in order to introduce the concept of ‘Internship Portal’ to various stakeholders in the district .The peoples who attended the meeting include eminent industrialist in the district and representatives from Local Self Government Department .The Registration started around 2.30 pm and went till beginning of the programme at 3 p.m.
Mr. Nisanth narayanan, SDC PM of GGHSS Manjeri gave the welcome address which was followed by presentation by Abi K PM incharge of SDC Govt. College Malappuram . Anil Kumar T.V Head Training ASAP gave the presidential address DPM Aneesh P introduced the concept of internship portal to the gathering and the crowd were positive towards the novel concept later the platform was left for open discussion and various doubts were cleared.
Most of the industries gathered in the meeting agreed to take students as interns who had registered through ASAP’s Internship portal and Local Self Government departments representatives were supportive to this novel initiative.
Under SDC GVMC HSS Wandoor, World Youth Skill Day 2019 was observed on July 15 at different institutions. World Youth Skills Day Programme and ASAP 2019-20 Orientation was inaugurated at GVMC HSS Wandoor, by Shri. A.P. Anil Kumar, Hon. MLA,Wandoor. Student artifact named “Pendrive” was published during the function. World Youth Skill Day was observed at DGMMES Mampad College with great fervour. Programmes started with the opening of WYSD 2019 themed chart exhibition IKHNO 2K19. Dr. PK Babu, Principal of DGMMES inaugurated the function. Mr Muneer Amayur, SDE ASAP took a session on Employability and Life Skills.,highlighting youth skills development and draw attention to the critical need for marketable skills for successful Career and Life. Asapians of “Ambedkar College of Arts & Science” observed WYSD by releasing ASAP manuscript named SILHOUETTE by presenting it to Principal Naser. Team ASAPIANS of KTM college Karuvarakundu observed WYSD by conducting an activity to find out the skills of students gathered there and students showcased their different skills in front of the audience. GHSS Tuvvur observed World Youth Skills Day by preparing charts short presentations. Asapians of GHSS Vaniyambalam celebrated World Youth Skill Day by conducting an awareness street play, oath taking on skill empowerment and opinion poll on the skill each student possess.
The ASAP Malappuram district SDE Forum was conducted on 30-06-2019 presided by the District Programme Manager Aneesh. The forum was blessed with the presence of ASAP Training division head Mr. Anil Kumar. 53 SDEs in Malappuram attended the forum. The forum was a PDSA workshop for which the topics of Foundation Module were divided and distributed among the different SDEs to prepare the work plans for the given topics.From each team, SDEs presented selected work plans. A valedictory program for the Programme Executives was also organised.
