Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) was launched in the year 2012 as a joint initiative of General and Higher Education Departments Govt of Kerala with an aim to develop industry relevant skill sets of the students of school and colleges. The preventive training vision was successful in enhancing employability of the youth of Kerala.
ASAP in Malappuram district is driven through our 14 Skill Development Centers, 1 Advanced Skill Development Center Nodal Office and 2 Community Skill Parks. The District Project Management Unit is functioning in Govt College Malappuram.
