Tanur is a small town and is situated in Malappuram district of Kerala state, India.
The town is located on the coast 9 kilometres north of Tirur. DGHSS Tanur is one
of the Skill Development Centre among the 14 SDC’s in Malappuram. SDC Tanur
is located in Devdhar Govt Higher secondary school Tanur which is close to the
bus stand and railway station. It is easily accessible. Shoranur Mangalore Railway
Line of Indian Railway literary passes through the school premises. The government offices like Panchayath office,post office and village office is very close to
the school premises.
