Skill Development Centers of ASAP or the SDC operate under the hub and spoke model, wherein students from 8-15 institutions are attached to a single Government Higher Secondary School or Govt College which is converted to offer various skill courses and hence designated as SDC.
Malappuram District has the maximum number of Skill Development Centers in Kerala.
