AIDS DAY AWARENESS

“Real Knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance” – Confucius “
Every word has a meaning and some words have multiple meanings. A consortium of such meaningful words creates an informative sentence. But some words with multiple meanings, have been gravely misunderstood for ages, because someone might consider what it denotes as either inappropriate/ offensive/rude/outright taboo or a combination of these.
One such harmless word is ‘Sex’, a word which denotes the gender of a living organism. Unfortunately these days it is solely associated with the reproductive process in humans. This confusion has opened a Pandora’s Box among the general public especially our youth. Our ignorance, somehow prohibits to address this term, with due respect.
So, it is pertinent to ensure that, every person who is entering adulthood is educated on the real meaning of sex and its purpose in one’s life.
A WEBINAR on sex education and world aids day awareness have been staged on *December 1st* (World AIDS Day),  at *4:00 pm*.

But sometimes it’s easy to look back and admit there are some things we miss now that we’re all grown up, like…

A childhood Mashup Anthem was created in connection with World Children’s Day among the students of GHSS Thrikkavu. Entries were invited from students for the same.
