The prominent Rebuild Kerala Development initiative: “Connect to work” by Kudumbashree in collaboration with ASAP is entrusted to provide soft skill training to the educated youth. The batch under the same at Pandikkad Panchayat/Wandoor Block Panchayat was inaugurated on 20th January 2021 at GLPS Pandikkad by Mrs. Rabiyath T K, honorable President, Pandikkad Panchayat. The event was started at 12 NN. The inauguration was presided over by Mrs. Kavitha P, Chairperson – Pandikkad CDS, Kudumbashree. Mr. Tony J. Alex, Programme Manager in charge, SDC Manjeri gave a brief idea about the initiative and the impact of ASAP in the industry. Vice President, Pandikkad Panchayat has opined that the course is a real need of the hour. Standing committee chairman- Education, newly elected ward members, etc. have represented the Panchayat. Mrs. Rajisha, Block coordinator- Kudumbashree, Wandoor Block Panchayat, members of Kudumbashree CDS – Pandikkad, etc. were present at the function.
Mrs. Rajisha has verified the documents of candidates. Out of 25 enrolled candidates, 18 were present at the inauguration. Mr. Deepak P, SDE, ASAP has interacted with the students and clarified the doubts. Few students had opted out as their college/work timing is same as with the batch schedule. The facilities in the training hall are limited, but manageable.

The first class was conducted on 21st January 2021 at 10 AM. Eight students only were present at the session. The session was really fantabulous and interactive.
