The connect to work Kudumbasree training, jointly conducted by Kudumbasree mission and Additional Skill Acquiisition Programme commenced on 12 th January, 2020, Tuesday at Edavanna Panchayat Building. As per the data provided by the Block Coordinator, a total of 36 students were enrolled in the batch.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Vice President of Edavanna Grama Panchayat, Ms Nusrath Valeed.N.

CDS Chairperson Ms Ramla Subair represented Kudumbasree at the inauguration ceremony.
District Programme Manager of ASAP Malappuram, Mr Manu KK gave a brief idea about ASAP and its activities in the Skilling Ecosystem of the State. Programme Manager of ASAP, Mr Markose Saju interacted with students and explained the modules and intent of the training programme. The training centre had good infrastructure for the conduct of the programme. Ms Shamila Abdul Shukoor, SDE of ASAP started the classes by 10:50 am and 3 hours were transacted on the day. The 1 st class was attended by 21 students.
